our soaps are made from natural oils and butters that are fabulous for your skin and whose names you can pronounce - avocado oil, kokum butter, and (yes) lard. we include aloe vera in every single bar we make, and some of our soaps include other skin friendly ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter, colloidal oatmeal, calendula, goat's milk or raw honey. we use essential oils, body safe fragrances, and plant or mineral based colorants to deliver a beautiful bar that is gentle and nourishing to your skin. Birch Brook soap is always free of parabens, phthalates, detergents, or synthetic preservatives.
