I have always loved handcrafted soap, and handcrafted products in general: I loved knowing that I was using a product with superior ingredients that was good for both my skin and for the planet, and that I was supporting artisans and farmers in the process. I decided to try making my own soap, to be able to completely customize the ingredients for myself and my family's skin, and I was immediately hooked. I love creating functional art by making nourishing, high quality soaps. I believe in bringing beauty and self care into every facet of our lives, both to reaffirm our worth and to refill ourselves in order to spread love and beauty into the world around us. Birch Brook also strives to be as eco-friendly as possible in our ingredients, packaging and production methods to care for and nourish the earth.
