At Birch Brook Soaps, we believe that we have a responsibility to use our business for good. Care is at the heart of every product we make - we want you to take good care of yourself, and to be able to give gifts that show how much you care for others. We also believe that we have an obligation to care for both people and planet, and so throughout the year we donate a portion of our proceeds to organizations who share our values and are doing good, fiscally responsible work.
Products that are of first quality but are "ugly ducklings" are donated locally to food pantries to help our neighbors.
Small scraps and ends are sent to Eco Soap Bank which works globally to distribute soap and hygiene education and provide fair wages for women to take scrap and create new soaps for their communities.
